Core i7-6700K vs Xeon E5-2667 v2 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E5-2667 v2 performs better than the Core i7-6700K. Despite this, the Core i7-6700K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E5-2667 v2 has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i7-6700K that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-6700K. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-6700K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2667 v2. Also, the Core i7-6700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-6700K CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2667 v2 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP.
