Core i7-6700 vs Core i3-N305 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-6700 performs better than the Core i3-N305. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-N305 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i3-N305 has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i7-6700 has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-6700 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-N305. Also, the Core i7-6700 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i3-N305 outputs less heat than Core i7-6700 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i3-N305 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-6700. Despite this, the Core i7-6700 has slightly more L3 cache compared to the Core i3-N305.
