Core i7-6700 vs A4-9125 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-6700 is faster than the A4-9125. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A4-9125 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-6700 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A4-9125 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A4-9125. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-6700 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the A4-9125. The A4-9125 outputs less heat than Core i7-6700 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-6700 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
