Core i7-4770K vs FX-9370 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-4770K is faster than the FX-9370. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-9370 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-9370 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-4770K. A Core i7-4770K CPU outputs less heat than a FX-9370 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-9370 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-4770K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i7-4770K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
