Core i7-3820QM vs Core i5-3350P benchmarks

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-3820QM has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-3350P has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-3820QM. Despite this, the Core i7-3820QM has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-3820QM CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-3350P CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
