Core i7-14700F vs Core i7-13700T benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-14700F beats the Core i7-13700T in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-13700T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-14700F has slightly more cores with 20 cores whereas the Core i7-13700T has 16 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-13700T. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-14700F has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-13700T. Also, the Core i7-14700F has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-14700F has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i7-13700T. The Core i7-14700F also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-14700F has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
