Core i7-13620H vs Core Ultra 7 255H specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-13620H is faster than the Core Ultra 7 255H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core Ultra 7 255H in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core Ultra 7 255H has significantly more cores than the Core i7-13620H. Indeed, the Core Ultra 7 255H has 16 cores compared to 10 cores found in the Core i7-13620H. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-13620H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core Ultra 7 255H. Despite this, the Core Ultra 7 255H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core Ultra 7 255H has more L2 cache than the Core i7-13620H. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-13620H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
