Core i7-13620H vs Core i5-14600KF comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-14600KF is faster than the Core i7-13620H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-13620H in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-14600KF has slightly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Core i7-13620H has 10 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-13620H. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-14600KF has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13620H. Also, the Core i5-14600KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i7-13620H has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-14600KF. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-13620H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
