In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-12800H has significantly more cores than the Ryzen Z1 Extreme. Indeed, the Core i7-12800H has 14 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen Z1 Extreme. It also has more threads than the Ryzen Z1 Extreme. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen Z1 Extreme has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-12800H. Also, the Ryzen Z1 Extreme has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen Z1 Extreme outputs less heat than Core i7-12800H thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen Z1 Extreme has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-12800H.
