Core i7-12700KF vs A10-6800K benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-12700KF performs better than the A10-6800K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-6800K in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-12700KF has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the A10-6800K has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A10-6800K. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-6800K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-12700KF. Despite this, the Core i7-12700KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The A10-6800K outputs less heat than Core i7-12700KF thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-12700KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
