In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 9700X beats the Core i7-12700H in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-12700H in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-12700H has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 7 9700X.
