Core i7-11800H vs Xeon W-2133 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-11800H performs better than the Xeon W-2133. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon W-2133 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-11800H has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Xeon W-2133 that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-2133. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-2133 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-11800H. Despite this, the Core i7-11800H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-11800H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W-2133 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-11800H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
