Core i7-11700KF vs Core i9-9900K comparison

In our benchmarks, the Core i9-9900K beats the Core i7-11700KF in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i7-11700KF has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. Both the Core i7-11700KF and Core i9-9900K have the same clock speed. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. The Core i9-9900K outputs less heat than Core i7-11700KF thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-11700KF has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i9-9900K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
