Core i7-11700K vs Core i7-13700H specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11700K is faster than the Core i7-13700H. Despite this, the Core i7-13700H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13700H has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Core i7-11700K has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-11700K. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-11700K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13700H. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-13700H has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-11700K. The Core i7-13700H also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-11700K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
