Core i7-11600H vs Core i5-1334U benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-11600H beats the Core i5-1334U in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-1334U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-1334U has significantly more cores with 10 cores compared to the Core i7-11600H that has 6 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-11600H has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1334U. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-11600H has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i5-1334U. The Core i7-11600H also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-11600H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
