Core i7-10875H vs Core i5-1335U specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10875H is faster than the Core i5-1335U. Despite this, the Core i5-1335U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-1335U has slightly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Core i7-10875H has 8 cores. Despite this, the Core i7-10875H has more threads than the Core i5-1335U. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-10875H has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1335U. Also, the Core i7-10875H has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-1335U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-10875H. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-10875H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
