Core i7-10750H vs Ryzen 7 7435HS benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 7 7435HS performs better than the Core i7-10750H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-10750H in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 7 7435HS has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i7-10750H that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-10750H. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7435HS has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10750H. Despite this, the Core i7-10750H has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 7435HS has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-10750H. The Ryzen 7 7435HS also has slightly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-10750H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
