Core i7-10700KF vs Core i7-11700F benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10700KF is faster than the Core i7-11700F. Despite this, the Core i7-11700F has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-10700KF has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-11700F. Also, the Core i7-10700KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-11700F outputs less heat than Core i7-10700KF thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-11700F has more L2 cache than the Core i7-10700KF. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-10700KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
