Core i7-10700KF vs Core i7-11700 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11700 is faster than the Core i7-10700KF. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-10700KF in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-10700KF has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-11700. Also, the Core i7-10700KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-11700 outputs less heat than Core i7-10700KF thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-11700 has more L2 cache than the Core i7-10700KF. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-10700KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
