Core i7-10700K vs Xeon W-11855M benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10700K is faster than the Xeon W-11855M. Despite this, the Xeon W-11855M has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-10700K has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Xeon W-11855M has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-11855M. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-10700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon W-11855M. Also, the Core i7-10700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Xeon W-11855M outputs less heat than Core i7-10700K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i7-10700K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
