Core i7-10700F vs Ryzen 7 7445HS benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-10700F performs better than the Ryzen 7 7445HS. Despite this, the Ryzen 7 7445HS has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-10700F has slightly more cores than the Ryzen 7 7445HS. Indeed, the Core i7-10700F has 8 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Ryzen 7 7445HS. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 7445HS. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7445HS has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10700F. Despite this, the Core i7-10700F has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 7445HS outputs less heat than Core i7-10700F thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 7 7445HS has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-10700F. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-10700F has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
