Core i7-10700 vs Ryzen 7 7735HS benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-10700 is faster than the Ryzen 7 7735HS. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 7735HS in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7735HS has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10700. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 7 7735HS has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-10700. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-10700 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
