Core i7-10700 vs Core i5-13600K benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13600K is faster than the Core i7-10700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-10700 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core i7-10700 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-13600K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10700. Also, the Core i5-13600K has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-10700 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-13600K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i5-13600K has more L2 cache than the Core i7-10700. The Core i5-13600K also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i7-10700 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
