Core i7-1065G7 vs Xeon X5570 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1065G7 is faster than the Xeon X5570. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5570 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5570 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1065G7. Despite this, the Core i7-1065G7 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-1065G7 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5570 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
