Core i7-1065G7 vs Xeon E5-430 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-1065G7 performs better than the Xeon E5-430. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-430 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-430 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1065G7. A Core i7-1065G7 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-430 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Xeon E5-430 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-1065G7
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
