Core i7-10610U vs FX-8320 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-10610U performs better than the FX-8320. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8320 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8320 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10610U. A Core i7-10610U CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8320 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the FX-8320 has more L2 cache than the Core i7-10610U. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i7-10610U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
