Core i5-9600KF vs Ryzen 7 7700 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 7700 beats the Core i5-9600KF in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-9600KF in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 7 7700 has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i5-9600KF that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-9600KF. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 7700 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-9600KF. Also, the Ryzen 7 7700 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 7700 outputs less heat than Core i5-9600KF thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 7700 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-9600KF. The Ryzen 7 7700 also has significantly more L3 cache.
