Core i5-9600K vs Xeon X5675 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon X5675 is faster than the Core i5-9600K. Despite this, the Core i5-9600K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Xeon X5675 has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-9600K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon X5675. Also, the Core i5-9600K has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Xeon X5675 also has slightly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i5-9600K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
