Core i5-9600K vs EPYC 74F3 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the EPYC 74F3 performs better than the Core i5-9600K. Despite this, the Core i5-9600K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the EPYC 74F3 has significantly more cores with 9 cores whereas the Core i5-9600K has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-9600K. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-9600K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the EPYC 74F3. A Core i5-9600K CPU outputs less heat than a EPYC 74F3 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the EPYC 74F3 has more L2 cache than the Core i5-9600K. The EPYC 74F3 also has significantly more L3 cache.
