Core i5-9600K vs Core i7-11800H comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-11800H performs better than the Core i5-9600K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-9600K in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-11800H has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i5-9600K that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-9600K. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-9600K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-11800H. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. The Core i7-11800H outputs less heat than Core i5-9600K thanks to a significantly lower TDP.
