Core i5-9600K vs A10-8700P benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-9600K beats the A10-8700P in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-8700P in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-9600K has significantly more cores than the A10-8700P. Indeed, the Core i5-9600K has 6 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A10-8700P. It also has more threads than the A10-8700P. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-9600K has a significantly higher clock speed than the A10-8700P. The A10-8700P outputs less heat than Core i5-9600K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A10-8700P has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i5-9600K
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-9600K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
