Core i5-9400T vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-9400T performs better than the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-9400T has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has 4 cores. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more threads than the Core i5-9400T. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-9400T. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i5-9400T. Despite this, the Core i5-9400T has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i5-9400T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
