Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 5 7640HS has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-9400F. Also, the Ryzen 5 7640HS has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 7640HS outputs less heat than Core i5-9400F thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
