Core i5-9400 vs Xeon E-2276M comparison
In our benchmarks, the Xeon E-2276M beats the Core i5-9400 in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-9400 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Xeon E-2276M has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-9400 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E-2276M. Despite this, the Xeon E-2276M has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Xeon E-2276M outputs less heat than Core i5-9400 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Xeon E-2276M also has slightly more L3 cache.
