Core i5-8600 vs Core 5 210H comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core 5 210H is faster than the Core i5-8600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-8600 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core 5 210H has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i5-8600 that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-8600. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-8600 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core 5 210H. Despite this, the Core 5 210H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core 5 210H has more L2 cache than the Core i5-8600. The Core 5 210H also has slightly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-8600 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
