Core i5-8400 vs Xeon E5-2660 v3 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Xeon E5-2660 v3 beats the Core i5-8400 in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-8400 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2660 v3 has significantly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Core i5-8400 has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-8400.
