With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-520 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-8350U. Despite this, the Core i5-8350U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-8350U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-520 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Xeon E5-520 also has slightly more L3 cache.
