Core i5-7600K vs Xeon E3-1535M v6 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-7600K performs better than the Xeon E3-1535M v6. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E3-1535M v6 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Xeon E3-1535M v6 has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-7600K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E3-1535M v6. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. The Xeon E3-1535M v6 outputs less heat than Core i5-7600K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Xeon E3-1535M v6 also has slightly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i5-7600K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
