Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G performs better than the Core i5-7600K. Despite this, the Core i5-7600K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-7600K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G. Also, the Core i5-7600K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G outputs less heat than Core i5-7600K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-7600K. Despite this, the Core i5-7600K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G.
