Core i5-7600K vs Core i7-4790K benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-4790K performs better than the Core i5-7600K. Despite this, the Core i5-7600K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i7-4790K has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-4790K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-7600K. Also, the Core i7-4790K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-4790K outputs less heat than Core i5-7600K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
