Core i5-7600 vs FX-8370 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-7600 performs better than the FX-8370. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8370 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the FX-8370 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8370 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-7600. Also, the FX-8370 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-7600 CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8370 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-8370 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-7600. The FX-8370 also has slightly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads.
