Core i5-7600 vs Core i7-4800MQ specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-7600 is faster than the Core i7-4800MQ. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-4800MQ in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-4800MQ has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-7600 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-4800MQ. Also, the Core i5-7600 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-4800MQ outputs less heat than Core i5-7600 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.
