Core i5-760 vs Core i5-4570T comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-760 is faster than the Core i5-4570T. Despite this, the Core i5-4570T has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-760 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i5-4570T has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-4570T has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-760. Also, the Core i5-4570T has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-4570T outputs less heat than Core i5-760 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-760 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-4570T. The Core i5-760 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i5-760 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
