Core i5-7500T vs Core i7-11700K benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-11700K is faster than the Core i5-7500T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-7500T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-11700K has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i5-7500T has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-7500T. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-11700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-7500T. Also, the Core i7-11700K has a significantly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-7500T CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-11700K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-11700K has more L2 cache than the Core i5-7500T. The Core i7-11700K also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-7500T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
