Core i5-7500T vs Core i5-10300H comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-10300H is faster than the Core i5-7500T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-7500T in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i5-10300H has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-7500T has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-10300H. Despite this, the Core i5-10300H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-7500T CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-10300H CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Core i5-10300H also has slightly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-7500T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
