Core i5-7500 vs Core i7-13850HX specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-13850HX is faster than the Core i5-7500. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-7500 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13850HX has significantly more cores with 20 cores whereas the Core i5-7500 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-7500. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-7500 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-13850HX. Despite this, the Core i7-13850HX has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-13850HX has more L2 cache than the Core i5-7500. The Core i7-13850HX also has significantly more L3 cache.
