Core i5-7400T vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE comparison

In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE beats the Core i5-7400T in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-7400T in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-7400T. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more L2 cache than the Core i5-7400T. Despite this, the Core i5-7400T has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i5-7400T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
