Core i5-7400T vs Core i5-1155G7 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-1155G7 is faster than the Core i5-7400T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-7400T in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i5-1155G7 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-1155G7 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-7400T. Also, the Core i5-1155G7 has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-1155G7 outputs less heat than Core i5-7400T thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-7400T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
