Core i5-7300U vs Celeron N4100 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-7300U is faster than the Celeron N4100. Despite this, the Celeron N4100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron N4100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i5-7300U that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-7300U has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4100. The Celeron N4100 outputs less heat than Core i5-7300U thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
