Core i5-6600K vs Core i3-4130 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-6600K performs better than the Core i3-4130. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-4130 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-6600K has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i3-4130 that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-6600K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i3-4130. The Core i3-4130 outputs less heat than Core i5-6600K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-6600K has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-4130. The Core i5-6600K also has significantly more L3 cache.
